The Indivisible Project’s Statement on Senate Vote to End Trump’s Emergency Declaration

This vote wasn't just a question of righting the past; as the administration publicly talks about stealing billions more next year, it has massive implications for the future too. “Impeach Now.” National Grassroots Organizations to Coordinate Grassroots Pressure Campaign

This morning, a coalition of some of the country’s largest grassroots organizations—including By The People, CREDO Action, Indivisible, March For Truth, MoveOn, Mainers for Accountable Leadership, Public Citizen, Stand Up America, Women’s March, and more—are announcing a coordinated continuing effort to drive constituent pressure on impeachment over the coming October recess.

‘Impeachment August’ Leaders Applaud House Judiciary Committee for Formalizing Impeachment Inquiry This Week

Thanks to the groundswell of constituent pressure driven by a coalition of grassroots organizations, the House Judiciary Committee is expected to vote on Thursday to formalize an impeachment inquiry. Following the momentum gained during ‘Impeachment August,’ the groups are calling on all House Democrats to express explicit support of the House Judiciary Committee’s impeachment inquiry and implore Chairman Nadler to increase the urgency with which his committee investigates Donald Trump’s criminal activity.

Indivisible Project launches the No Filibuster campaign

Today, the Indivisible Project launched its campaign to end the filibuster. The campaign aims to demystify the filibuster and have the Indivisible community pressure their senators and the 2020 presidential candidates to eliminate the filibuster. Indivisibles are also provided resources to help them record videos about progressive priorities that the filibuster is hindering and to submit letters to the editor about the issue.
